Pep Rally and Points
On Monday, we had our very first ICEF Vista Pep Rally.
Scholars who had 95% of their Materials and Behavior Points were invited to
enjoy an extended lunch and some music. Parents and guardians, please look out
for a Materials and Behavior Points Letter Home (on orange paper) that provides
you with an update regarding the number of points your student has earned thus
far in the year. These letters should be signed and returned to school as soon
as possible.
IXL
This year in Math students will have access to a great
online program for practicing math: IXL. All students have received their own
personal usernames and passwords, as well as their first online assignments
(due Friday). This website can be used from any computer with internet access
to practice Kinder through Algebra math skills. Students will be assigned
exercises from this program weekly and will be given time begin these exercises at the Technology Station.
Any exercises not completed during this class time, should be finished on
students' personal time (either at home or before or after school).
Math Test
Our very first math test (Chapter 1) is on Wednesday
morning. Scholars don't forget to study by completing your study guide, reviewing
your Chapter 1 notes and homework, and completing IXL exercises X6-8, and O15.
